I left London College of Fashion 19 years ago after specializing in knitwear. As soon as I left I realized that I wanted to work for myself and opened a stall in Camden Market as ‘Scarecrow’.

The name Scarecrow came about because I only use natural yarns cottons, linens and silks and used to hand sew a lot of the garments.

I then started to wholesale my knitwear to small boutiques in Chelsea, Notting Hill, Kensington and other independent boutiques around England. International sales followed to Japan, Italy and Spain.

Whilst building up a wholesale clientele I opened my first shop in Camden Canal Market.
We then opened our second shop in Crouch End and descided to close our Camden one down 2 years later.

I have stopped wholesale now to concentrate on our Boutique.
Still knitting away and making stock and one off pieces for Scarecrow Boutique.
